Weather Forecast Looks Perfect!!!!

We have all been holding our breath here in Live Oak, keeping our fingers crossed that Hurricane Ida would either miss us in Live Oak or blow past us prior to Bear Creek. Incredibly, both of these ideal scenario seem to be coming true. The weather forecast for Thursday through Sunday is festival perfect. High's in the upper 70's, lows in the upper 50's and warm autumn sunshine. looks like the best weather we have ever had. Bring it on!!!!!!

Costume Party!!!!

A bunch of Bear Creek veterans and a few noobs requested that we hold an annual costume party at the festival. Sounded like a great idea to us. We want the energy from Halloween and Friday the 13th to spill over into our first annual Saturday Night Costume Party.

Best costume winner will receive 2 VIP tickets to Bear Creek 2010.

Lineup Additions

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Bernie Worrell will be joining the party as a special guest artist, sitting in this year with Third Stone and as an artist-at-large. Many of you will recall that Bernie was the original keyboard/sythesizer player with Parliment/ Funkadelic. He is also well known for his many years touring with the Talking Heads.

Old friends Cadillac Jones and Jacksonville’s Saltwater Grass have been added to Bear Creek, as well as a second show by The Ryan Montbleau Band.

We have added guitar slingers Matt Grondin (Inca Maya) and Cameron Williams (Tishamingo) and trombonist Jonathan Lloyd (Dubconscious and Cadillac Jones) to the mix as artists-at-large.

Bobby Lee Rogers will be joining the Donna Hopkins Band for their Bear Creek set.

Sunday's Schedule Announced

We realize that many of you have jobs, school and life to get back to after your Bear Creek experience. We suggest ignoring these realities for an extra day because you should NEVER MISS SUNDAY AT BEAR CREEK. We think the Sunday schedule is so funkalicious that missing the day could be considered funk blasphemy. Check out the Bear Creek Sunday schedule and start making your travel plans for the weekend. The full schedule will be announced on Tuesday, September 29.
