Savi and his band have been developing a funk reggae sound that has been pushing the envelope to the masses since 2004. SFB has grown from a forceful power trio to a large power house including guests on keys and sax. The music can be described as soulful, rootsy, with a funky vibe. Not only is it a dance party atmosphere but the music is also filled with positivity that always provides an uplifting message. Major national festival performances,international touring, and a newly released ablum "Sweet Butterfly" has pushed the Savi Fernandez Band into a stronger position.This year alone they have toured the Virgin Islands, the South/North East, major festivals and has shared the stage with the likes of Steel Pulse, SOJA, Katchafire, Dumpstaphunk, and John Browns Body, just name a few. With a newer rhythm section consisting of Chris McMullen on bass and Joey Lanna on drums, the band has taken off and has already performed 150+ shows, and 5 international tours under their belt.
